what would be the best machine and products for scrap booking and card making for the cricut?

I have a small cricut. I guess it is the Cricut Personal Cutter. Can it handle vinyl? If so, where do you order vinyl sheets for it? Would it require a new blade?

i currently have the cricut expression, and i see how cool the cricut cake machine is. is there anyway with out buying the new cricut cake, that i can use my cricut expression to make things for baking?

I'm about to make cookies with my cricut cake, but i don't have vegetable shortening. Can i use butter?

I am considering giving my 10 and 12 year old daughters a Cricut for Christmas, but wonder if it is extremely expensive to by cartridges and all the needed items to make using it fun.

At work we are looking to possibly cut some arrows quickly and easily, and I thought of my Cricut expression. Does anyone know what cartridges have arrows? If there is some type of searchable database where you can type in the symbol you are looking for and cind a cartridge? I am hoping I have one with an arrow, but if not, a cheap cartridge that's easily accessable would be something I could get...

I'm considering buying a Cricut imagine, but im worried that if the printer is a laser ink jet printer that it could be bad for my asthma in the long term; so can anyone tell me the type of ink or printer that it uses?

I bought the most basic cricut for a Christmas gift and want to know what else I should buy to go with it. Not looking to spend a lot on cartridges or anything, but rather the bare basics.

I own the Cricut Personal Cutter and I am thinking about upgrading to the Expression. I know that the cartridges are linked somehow to you, and I wasn't sure if they were linked to your PC account or your actual machine. I know that you can't purchase used cartridges online because they won't work. Can someone help me!

I'm trying to make a dust cover for the cricut expression (the bigger one) for a present and I can't seem to get any definite measurements. I need the bottom width, height, length, and measurement from front bottom to back bottom (like an inverted u shape). If there is anyone out there that owns one and could make some measurements for me, I would appreciate it. I'm not too interested in tutorials, patterns, or websites that claim to have the dimensions.
