It looks like a Cricut machine would replace punches because you can cut out shapes and fonts from their cartridges which would replace buying punches . A Sizzix and Cuttlebug cut out things but you have to buy the dies. A Xyron makes stickers and can laminate. Is that the right of it?
Any pros/cons of any one that you have tried?

My wife wants a Cricut and I want to get her one, but she is talking about 2 different sizes, and seems to have no real preference on one over the other. I can get a bigger sized used one from a local private seller for about the same price that I can buy a new one from a store. What's the better choice here? Of course physical condition and stuff like that, but is there something particular I need to look at if I buy a used one?

i would like to know all the benefits that i could get if i bought the expression instead of the smaller one. thanks!

What is the difference between a Cricut machine and a printer? With a printer you have the internet and its numberless of options. While the Cricut machine only allows you what little the expensive cartilages offer. Can someone go into great detail the differences in what both have to offer?
